Versatility, from Production
Management to Maintenance ...
Monitor multiple machine centers for production and alarming functions/information. Data displays are filtered within each PDA depending on the level of information desired, such that a Production manager may configure the system to register only production data and bypass alarming. Maintenance personnel will configure the system to report all alarms requiring their attention, filtered for maintenance level alarms. Then, when an alarm occurs the maintenance personnel will be directed to the problem via an
on-screen popup. An on-line maintenance procedures document is used to list standard
diagnostics/troubleshooting
procedures for a particular alarm, giving maintenance the ability to arrive at the scene with the proper tools in hand.
