With the revolutionary Planer Reporting package, your personnel will have the ability to evaluate maintenance issues and identify process bottlenecks. In addition, these reports allow you to track equipment usage, such as the motor runtime, cylinder strokes and number of equipment cycles in a given period. The reports can also be configured to act as time-clocks, a valuable tool for managing over-time and creating schedules.

Production Report
The production report allows for online monitoring of production parameters in piece counts, board footage, and percent for all grades and lengths. Furthermore, moving your mouse over any grade will generate totals for the grade (i.e. total pieces, total board ft., percent of pieces ran, percent of board footage and total lineal feet). This report can be customized for your grade names, and can also include any number of grades and lengths to fit your application.

Grader Report
The grader report displays tallied information of all trim and grading operations. This report shows the lumber mix and other statistical information including trim and grade decisions, as well as recording slash decisions based upon measured board lengths. All of the trim loss is tallied into a total trim loss field and displayed on the report. All of these values can be displayed in units of piece count, board footage, and percent on an individual grader basis or as totals by the entire team, with the simple click of a mouse.

Event Monitor Report
The event monitor report displays information monitored on a real time basis. These reports can be customized to match the downtime codes of your mill, giving management detailed information of the number of minutes lost, by downtime code. An additional feature is the ability for management personnel to enter a ‘Break and Lunch Time Allowance’, such that downtime is not accrued during these periods of no production, resulting in an accurate view of the day’s downtime events.

Customized Options

  • Automatic Printing and Clearing: This feature allows management to schedule Automatic Report Printing and Clearing. This is convenient for end-of-shift reports. Up to two print/clear times can be scheduled per day.
  • Automatic Excel File Generation: This feature saves a copy of all of the reports for viewing in Microsoft Excel. The files can be stored on a file server for easy access by the management personnel and automatic archiving.
  • Reader-Board: This feature adds one or more reader-boars to display production and downtime information, as well as general informational messages.
  • Automatic Ticket Printing: This feature prints a unit ticket for each unit generated at the stacker. The formatting for the ticket is flexible, and can be configured to include logos, barcodes, and other information.
