The Cutter-Creaser Registration System completely replaces the existing gearboxes, infeed positioning system, and print-to-cut registration system with an electronic servo control package. The servomotors are electronically geared to the cutter, giving precise position and registration control over the full range of repeat lengths. The system retrofits older Cutter-Creasers by replacing the gear box assemblies with individual servo-motors. Typical Cutter-Creasers were mechanically built to last, however the in-feed sections have been a source of problems. The Cutting head itself can be refurbished and provide years of reliable, trouble-free service. The in-feed, on the other hand, utilizes outdated, expensive gearbox assemblies for setting repeat length, and a variety of error-prone print-to-cut registration systems.

Extensive information provided via custom screens make monitoring performance quick and easy. Instead of changing gears to adjust the repeat length, the operator simply selects the new product from a menu on a color touch-screen display. The process takes seconds instead of hours.
