Concept Systems Inc., in partnership with Brake Supply Company, has developed a loadout system designed to meet the high demand for reliable loadout controls. The system is designed to retrofit existing loadout configurations, including flood, trim, surge bin batch, discharge gates, and top off discharge gates.

The Automatic Loadout Control System eliminates maintenance issues by replacing conventional ‘bang-bang’ controls with a closed-loop motion control system, utilizing position feedback on the hydraulic cylinders, proportional valve control, and Delta RMC motion controls. The new loadout sequence is based on a motion profile that continually monitors the loadout weight and adjusts the percent-closed of each gate on a continual basis.

Loadout weights are based on operator selected recipes on a per batch basis. The result is a smooth, accurate motion of each gate throughout the loadout process rather than discrete independent moves. Maintenance wear and tear is significantly reduced, loadout time is shortened, and weight accuracy is improved. The loadout system meets Class I, Division I Hazardous Area standards and includes fail safe features which automatically close the gate in case of a valve, motion controller, or position sensor failure.
