Procter is a distinguished engineer with over 30 years of experience, education and training in electrical engineering and IT experience.

Procter's experience in the Wood Products industry ranges from projects in cogeneration, particle board, plywood, mdf/osb board, planers, paper mills and sawmills. Originally from Louisiana, Procter got his start in the industry as a journeyman electrician and later moved on to the role of Electrical/Control Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer for Weyerhaeuser Co. (formerly Willamette Industries Inc. of Albany, OR) and ABB, respectively.

Procter's expertise includes the design and implementation of both DCS and PLC systems, with extensive experience on the ABB and Allen-Bradley product lines. Procter also has solid experience with the Modicon, GE, TI, and Westinghouse platforms. In addition, he has received accreditation in Microsoft Windows Technologies for Industrial IT.
