Don has over 33 years of industrial automation and control experience working for GE and as one of the original owners of Advanced Control Technology (ACT).
While at ACT Don was responsible for the development of ACT’s presence in the Aerospace industry with his work at Boeing, Aerojet, Textron, and Lockheed. As ACT grew into an international Systems Integrator Don assumed the role of Engineering Manager, becoming involved on multiple projects and handling resource issues concurrently.
Now the Projects Manager for Concept Systems, Don oversees the engineering scheduling, training and mentoring for projects; including the budget, schedule, documentation and technical issues. Don brings with him extensive experience in the design and development of state of the art control systems in the Aerospace and Engineered Wood Products Industry, with multiple MDF, OSB, and LVL applications under his belt.
Don was involved in the design and development of the first processor-based automated sawmill in the world at Sun Studs in Roseburg, Oregon.
Don holds a Bachlor of Science from California State University – Long Beach.
