Bob has over 19 years of industrial automation experience, specializing in HMI & PLC software design for high speed multiple axis motion machines.

Bob is a proficient software designer for Allen Bradley, Texas Instruments, and Modicon PLC's. He has extensive Wonderware and Rockwell RSView HMI experience.

Bob has extensive experience in the Wood Products and Food Processing industries.

Bob’s Wood Products experience includes the development of PLC systems (TI, AB, Modicon) for sawmill machinery, including: end-dogger, sharpchain, edger, trimmer, sorter, and stacker machines; interfacing PLC's to optimization computers via serial, parallel, and Ethernet interfaces; and HMI software design (Wonderware, RS View).

In the Food Processing industry, Bob supported PLC systems (AB, TI, Modicon) in seven food processing facilities, developed custom packaging equipment and developed a micro-controller based vision system.

Bob has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University.
