Cory Tomford

Growing up in North Carolina, Cory was fascinated with automation and the art of "making things" since childhood. This led to working as an industrial apprentice electrician on control systems during college at North Carolina State University. Cory recieved his BS in Electrical Engineering and has worked in automation control sales ever since.

Cory enjoys the opportunity to help drive manufacturing towards a strong future. Cory says, "The evolution of fast and cost effective PC's, robots, and vision systems has allowed manufacturers to analyze and automate their process flow in ways that may have been out of reach just a handful of years ago. I feel like Concept Systems is at the front lines when it comes to rejuvenating the aging factories that exist in so many industries today, offering creative solutions for removing cost, adding safety, and increasing throughput. These elements are essential for any company to stay competitive in the global market we compete in today."

When Cory is not at Concept Systems, he enjoys remodeling projects on his new home, making his own craft beer, snowboarding and backpacking.
